2020 Summer Camps
Summer Camp – Camps are used to expose children to nature across the 19-acre nature space at CMS where they begin to learn skills such as basic structure building, tool usage, campfire building, and study the basics of our natural ecosystem.

Grades K – 8th (M-F, 8:30-3:00, $350/week)
Week June 22 – Hands on nature exploration on Community Montessori’s 12 acre natural habitat in Liberty Township. Days will include hiking, guided campfire building, outside food preparation and cooking, creek exploration, and fort building.

Week July 27 – Basic structure design and build. Kids will work together and get a hands on experience using their imagination to plan the build of a permanent wooden structure, get instruction on the use of basic tools, and then see their vision come to life!
